In this seminar we will take a look at the Quantz Trio Sonata in C Major for alto recorder, flute, and continuo. We will explore all four movements, and learn more about such things as phrasing, articulation, ornamentation, form, counterpoint, and breathing.
For the Quantz, the alto recorder part is labeled “Flauto dolce.” The other part is for the transverse flute. The Quantz file starts out showing the full score. The parts follow. Register to receive the music in advance, and a Zoom invitation.
